LogiMAT , is the leading annual intralogistics trade fair in the world. Logimat 2016 (March 8-10), with more than 43,000 trade visitors and 1,280 exhibitors from 33 countries, has turned in a record-breaking performance on all fronts: exhibitor and visitor numbers and size of exhibition space.

Mantis, a leading European WMS/logistics software and solutions vendor, was again present at the fair along with its partners from several countries. Mantis' booth was visited by a great number of supply chain executives who were looking for enterprise-scale, adaptable, proven and state-of-the-art WMS/logistics solutions for their companies.

Strauss, a major international coffee and food producer, goes with Mantis' Logistics Vision software suite and ant Technologies in Russia

Strauss Group is a major international company in the food sector operating 26 factories in 24 countries. According to analysts the company is estimated to be the 4th largest in the world regarding coffee production. Strauss Group holds a leading position in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia/CIS, Brazil and Israel. The company, since 1992, represents in the Russian-CIS market, several well-known brands such as Totti Cafe, Black Card, Ambassador, Elite Health Line, Le Café and Fort.

Looking for new ways to develop its business in Russia, Strauss is targeting the market segment "Away From Home" (coffee consumption outside home), introducing professional equipment and coffee to restaurants, cafes, hotels and offices. Today, Strauss is the undisputed leader in the professional coffee market in Eastern Europe, developing the modern culture in coffee consumption.

Strauss relies on modern IT solutions and technologies in order to improve the productivity of its operations and the service of its customers and partners.

In this context, Straus selected Mantis' Logistics Vision Suite for its 6,000 sq.m. distribution centre.

Ant Technologies, Mantis' partner in Russia/CIS, installed LVS and adapted it to Strauss' warehousing processes and needs implementing also the following extra capabilities:

Receiving from production areas with "a single scan".
Stock rotation and management based on production and expiration dates.
Specialized customer-oriented order processing.
Processing defective goods and goods returned according to customers' demands.
The need for special certificates and scanned documents was covered through the implementation of the special module "packet print".

The integration with customer's ERP (1C) was successfully completed through the implementation of LVS' Logistics Link Manager. Customer's warehouse was equipped by mobile computers and printers from Motorola / Zebra.

The next step in the project is to deploy LVS at Strauss' raw material warehouse.

Rekah a key pharmaceutical producer and distributor, selected Logistics Vision Suite for its operations in Israel

Rekah is a public pharmaceutical Group traded on the Israel Stock Exchange. The Group owns a number of designated subsidiaries (Vitamed, Ophir, Center-Pharm) which are engaged in the manufacture, marketing, sale and distribution of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, vitamins and nutritional supplements.

Established in 1941, Rekah boasts a long record of pioneer activity in Israel's pharmaceutical industry, and has amassed vast and diverse experience in the development, production and sale of generic drugs.

As part of the marketing and sales division, the Group runs an independent distribution system that supplies medications, vitamins, paramedical products and cosmetics to 1,000 customers per day in the retail and institutional sector with national distribution.

Rekah owns an extensive fleet of trucks and commercial vehicles that transport the Group's products to customers across the nation-wide. The division maintains regular contact with its customers through its sales agents and call center staff that maintain daily telephone contact with the customers. The division's policy is to supply merchandise within 24 hours to most areas across the country.

In January of 2010, Rekah's new logistics center was opened in the Modiin Industrial Zone. This logistics center has significantly increased the division's capacity and its distribution and service capability to the entire country.

Having an increased capacity as well as augmented demand led Rekah to consider the implementation of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) that would scale to their expandability needs. They needed a WMSwith profound experience of the pharmaceutical sector specifics, with the adaptability to their distribution needs and with extensive traceability.

In 2015 Rekah selected Logistics Vision Suite for its distribution center in Modiin. The implementation of Logistics Vision Suite had to satisfy Rekah' needs to deliver highly diverse customer orders within 24 hours, maintaining high level of traceability throughout the process.

Logistics Vision Suite implementation in Rekah included:

Customer order splitting to different picking zones (food, pharma, drugs, cosmetics etc) to speed up picking speed per order.
More than 4 multiple packages hierarchies' management per each SKU (for example piece, box, carton, big carton, pallet), to enable accurate stock management, faster transactions and minimize mistakes.
Batch management and full traceability from receipt until delivery to the end customer.
Value added logistics such as re-packing, sorting and kitting.

Hagim, a group of diverse companies in Israel implemented Logistics Vision Suite in its logistics site in Israel

Hagim Nehalim Group Holds is a group of companies like Intex a provider of swimming pools, Berman a provider of office supplies, Nehalim a distributor of camping gear, Modan a producer of bags, Alfit a producer of Toys.

Thousands of picking lines are executed every day in Hagim. Because of such a volume and in order to achieve high productivity and accuracy Hagim needed a Warehouse Management System (WMS) that would be adaptable to such needs.

Hagim Group selected Logistics Vision Suite and Mantis Israel because of its flexibility and adaptability in so many different areas of goods managed.

Multi depositor implementation was performed to fulfill each company's business needs. Planning distribution routes, based on which creation of shipments and orders allocation to distribution trucks were deployed as well as Order Consolidation to allow faster picking.

In packing, touchscreen packing stations were installed and implemented.

The project was complicated mainly because of the need to go-live with both ERP, WMS and TMS at the same time.

The project was a success and the proof is that within a few days, Hagim Group managed to deliver all pending orders to its customers with high accuracy and on time.

X-KOM, one of the most popular Omni-channel retailers in Poland, relies on Mantis solutions to optimize its logistics e-fulfillment operations

X-KOM is one of the most popular Polish omni-channel retailers and one of the top sellers of computers and accessories and other electronic goods, operating in Poland since year 2002.

X-KOM is operating both through internet (e-commerce) and several retail stores across the whole country. The company supports its logistics operations through a number of warehouses while at the same time provides its affiliated companies of the group with 3rd party logistics services.

The increasing number of orders and the need to improve the efficiency of its warehousing operations was for X-KOM the most important reason for its decision to implement an advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS).

The requirements for such implementation were quite sophisticated. The solution to be selected should be able to cover the needs of the existing manual warehouses as well as future plans for the introduction of material handling automation. Furthermore the solution should be able to support multiple depositors in an Omni-channel environment.

In order to fulfil its requirements, X-KOM selected and implemented the WMS solution of Mantis' leading Logistics Vision Suite.

The result was a 30% increase in order processing productivity. This was achieved by adapting Mantis' solution to support the reengineering of certain critical warehousing processes as well as the optimal use of storage space and the improvement of the warehousing workflow.

The solution allows X-KOM to reduce its logistics operation costs while at the same time improving its customer service level.

NarvaLogistics, a leading Estonian logistics operator relies on Mantis' LVS to offer advanced e-Commerce and logistics services

NarvaLogistics is a full-featured logistics operator in Estonia, offering a full range of services for secure storage, handling, customs clearance and e-fulfillment services. The company, since its establishment in 2010, has grown into a major logistics services provider in the region offering its services through its own fleet of trucks and an "A" class warehouse complex located in the city of Narva, in the largest industrial park in North-Eastern Estonia (Narva Production and Logistics Park).

The warehouse location is 1.5 kilometer from the highway Tallinn - St. Petersburg and two kilometers from the road crossing the border between the Russian Federation and the EU. The total warehouse area is 27,000 sq.m. including 18 loading / unloading docks equipped with levelers and dock shelters. A well-organized parking area for 30 heavy trucks equipped with electronic scales for heavy vehicles complements the warehouse.

In order to efficiently manage its warehousing resources and employees throughout all major warehousing inbound, outbound and e-commerce activities, the company selected Mantis' Logistics Vision Suite (LVS). The project was implemented in 2014 by the WMS / logistics specialists of ant Technologies, a leading logistics turn-key solutions provider and Mantis' partner in the region. LVS was selected among several other local and international systems due to its outstanding flexibility that allows Mantis' partners or even the customers themselves to configure and adapt the system to meet their sophisticated and continuously evolving needs.

The recent implementation of an advanced e-fulfillment platform based on Mantis' LVS allows NarvaLogistics to support the e-Commerce activities of its customers. The rapid progress of e-Commerce dramatically increased the need to handle a much larger number of orders with smaller quantities per order such as pieces and smaller cartons.

LVS was adapted to support all e–Commerce activities:

Good labeling, put-away, picking, checking and packing at a piece level.
Optimization of the put-away and picking processes.
Processing of the returns from the branches.

The result of this project is the reduction of the time required to process the online orders and the increase of the customer service.

Among the plans for the near future, is to install equipment that automates and facilitates the measuring of the weight and dimensional characteristics of the goods and the implementation of workstations for product labeling.

Mantis Cyprus implemented Logistics Vision Suite to their warehouse and distribution center some time ago.

Now that Petway moves forward and changes its ERP system they asked Mantis Cyprus to implement the interfaces between their new ERP and Logistics Vision Suite.

The implementation has been completed with success.
