Port2Port 2019 is the largest annual logistics event in Israel and constitutes the main meeting point between logistics service providers and the supply chain and cargo owners.
The conference attracted over 2,800 people who visited the pavilions, met with peers and shared professional knowledge.
The Israeli Pharma & Medical Logistics Forum held a special session during the PORT2PORT conference, with the participation of exporters, importers and logistics suppliers.

Today, PSB Group owns 302 stores, and under the brand Mrowka (ant) 287 stores and 63 shopping centers. Around 15,000 employees work in these facilities. For several years now, sales are successfully increased through the Mrowka online store, under a wide variety of products such as construction material, insulations, interior furnishing, garden care tools, etc.
Due to the dynamic development of its e-commerce channel, PSB Group decided to expand the existing dedicated warehouse to cover the aforementioned needs.
The storage area has been doubled, a mezzanine with racks has been placed and warehouse automation consisting of conveyors, elevators, sorters and packaging stations has been installed.
PSB Group needed an innovative Warehouse Management System (WMS) to cover the e-commerce needs of its warehouse. Mantis flagship software Logistics Vision Suite has been selected to handle all the warehouse processes. After the analysis, it took just two months to deliver a prototype which was later expanded in terms of automation and advanced manual processes. The final part of the implementation consisted of tests in the pre-production environment and inventory. Mantis LVS went live in January 2019 and after a few days the warehouse worked completely smoothly.

After an extensive WMS selection process, the company decided to implement the Logistics Vision Suite by Mantis (Oct 2015) due to the system flexibility and comprehensive functionality that ensure the support of all the company's current and future needs.
Maytronics Headquarters is located in Kibbutz, Israel where 2 production lines are operated and it has another site in Dalton, Israel with an additional production line.
The primary need originated from the significant expansion of the raw materials warehouse and the new warehouse handled by VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) rendered the procurement of a WMS necessary to operate and optimize warehouse operations.
The raw materials are divided to:
- Kanban items (items that are available in the production floor and supplied on request),
- Spare parts,
- Items required by the production orders.
Dalton enhanced production capacity with one additional production line. During 2018, Maytronics is adding one extra production line in each factory thus increasing their production capability by 66%.
LVS is operational in Maytronics since 2015 and despite the fact that the project was completed in a brief period of time, the system is continuously evolved and adapted to fulfill the needs of the company.
